This webcam is supported by gspca_zc3xx driver. But it provides compressed video streams, which are are handled by V4L2 kernel API.

Some userspace applications are not aware of V4L2 and thus need libv4l wrapper.

Today however, mplayer, vlc and aMsn work out of the box. (I have bad results with vlc).
