Works fine with proprietary FGLRX drivers from ATI (Beryl also). Beryl doesn’t work with opensource drivers: http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Feisty#How_to_install_Beryl_.28ATI.29
Works perfectly.
You need to install fglrx driver (apt-get installa xdriver-xorg-fglrx)
Under Ubuntu 7.04, it doesn’t start in graphical mode, due to a bug that has been resolved in Ubuntu 7.10.
The solution is to apt-get install xdriver-xorg-fglrx and then reconfiguring xserver (dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg)
