The ca106 module is loading fine but no sound output.

I have also tried to upgrade to alsa 1.0.14 without success.

If you use 5.1 sound. Software mixing will not work… And you will have only one channel to using sounds… If you dont use 5.1 sound, software mixing will work. After add configuration to ~.asoundrc file.

SB Audigy LS uses the ca0106 kernel module. With the ALSA driver and toolkit, this soundcard works like a charm. Recommended!
