(please forgive my english) The module rt73usb have to be loaded manually via the modprobe command. If the rt2500usb module is loaded, it have to be released with “modprobe -r”, however it make the wireless not working, even the rt73usb module is loaded.
Using legacy driver from rt2×00.serialmonkey.com/ plus Rutilt connection program from same site
CWD-854 WIRELESS-G Dongle
Looses connection now and then. Removing and reloading the module fixes it. Maybe caused by multiple CPUs.

rt73 firmware is missing on powerpack dvd. Available on any “non-free” official and public repo, or through updates.
