Unfortunately since about 2008… – Support for the TV2000 XP Global seems to have been dropped out of Mrec’s working code, and now the new v4l code seems to just display a picture without any sound, and the TV additionally seems slow to initialize and more “crashy.”
While there is no sound with the newer v4l driver, oddly enough when I try the webcam feature on Kopete’s setup I can hear the radio sometimes. (Tuned, but very crashy.)
In summary this card seems no longer supported at all. (Sadly I can’t lower the now outdated rating either.)

This came in the box as a Leadtek Winfast “TV Global Expert”, but it does work exactly the same as a Winfast TV2000 XP Global.
The em2800-dvb module seems to crash sometimes – television has worked for some time once I had it working, but one day I closed KDETv and it left the sound on and unmuted. On shutdown the system became seemingly unresponsive and needed a hard rebot. Television still works occasionally.
I also tested composite input with a webcam and it works well.
