Sometimes the wireless daemon would crash under prolonged periods in monitor mode, but that is how it works under Windows as well.
Requires binary-only daemon in the the ipw3945 driver
This requires either the iwl3945 driver or ipw3945 driver from Intel, both of which rely on non-free firmware. The ipw3945 driver also requires a non-free userspace daemon.
