Working sound cards on Gentoo Gentoo Base System release 1.12.11.1 GenuineIntel (kernel: 2.6.27-gentoo-r7) by init_6 (-3):

SPDIF/headphone not tested. Internal speakers are working out of the box with snd_hda_intel.
The internal microphone and the audio output and an external microphone require adjustment.
RJ 11 integrated software modem does not work.
