There are performance issues (windows take long to maximize etc.) Sleep does not seem to work when a 3D application is running e.g. Compiz (On Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty)

Working video cards in 2D on Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 (kernel: 2.6.28-14-generic) by kribor (-3):

Works without proprietary driver (but then there is no 3D). With proprietary driver there are performance issues (windows take long to maximize etc.)
