Waiting an open-source driver (from alsa-project) or a closed-source driver from Creative (soon)
Creative didn’t release their proprietary drivers yet and AFAIK there is no work on free drivers… avoid this one – it’s just paperweight if you run only linux.
Creative has relesed driver 1.04 time of writing. Can be installed, works really badly, due very low quality of 1.04 release.
My soundcard (X-fi xtreme music) does not work.
Doesn’t works on a x86-32bit,there’s no driver for the x86-32 platform,there may be one for the x86-64, but can’t test, have heard it works on some distros but badly due to bad driver released by Creative.
Ne fonctionne pas sur une plateforme 32 bits car il n’y a pas de driver pour cette architecture, il doit y avoir un driver dispo pour les architectures 64 bits que je ne peux pas tester, mais j’ai lu qu’elle fonctionnait sur certaines distros assez mal, du fait d’un “mauvais” port du driver fourni par Creative.
