Works with NDIS driver (ndiswrapper)
Needs to blacklist bcm43XX module
With NDISWrapper module – OK
With BCM43xx module – not functionnal (some communications will not work very good …. 20% ping …) – but mode monitor is OK
Needs ndiswrapper to work. After setting that up it works fine. BCM43xx does not support this card properly (BCM4318). b43 from wireless-2.6 dev branch supports this card, but doesn’t get the best of speeds.
Work with module [0]“b43”.
o Download and install firmware closed of Broadcom.

Connection “freezes” working for a couple of seconds sometimes when downloading large files.
A proprietary firmware has to be downloaded.
Install b43-fwcutter
avec ndiswrapper
BCM4318 Works with restricted drivers
Here is the only way I found to make this device work:

It has been configured on Fedora10 using above instructions, survived several kernel updates and F10—>F11 upgrade install – never had to change anything.
