Download driver from nVidia. Avoid nVidia’s own installation procedure but use Mandriva’s own script to build an RPM which can be installed using urpmi.
Don’t know about games but glxgears returns 6000 fps (256×256) and 320 fps in fullscreen mode (1920×1200).
